We were very satisfied with the location. The apartment is close to all the main attractions. It’s just a short walk to Mercator, DM, Lake Bled, the Bled Old town and the lovely candy shop "ŠMON Slaščičarna". It’s also conveniently close to the highway, and in the opposite direction, it’s an easy drive to Lake Bohinj and "Slap Savica" waterfall.
And the host was awesome. He gave us a perfect balance of privacy and availability. It felt like he wasn’t there, yet he was always ready to help whenever we needed anything.
This didn’t affect our stay, but there were spider webs in almost every corner.
The weather in September was very changeable, from 6°C up to 28°C, and during the last three days, we were fighting the rain.
